Intralase Laser Eye Surgery

The IntraLase Method is a 100% blade-free technique used to perform the critical first step in the LASIK procedure: creating the corneal flap. The creation of the corneal flap prepares the eye for the second step of the LASIK procedure where an excimer laser is used on the inner cornea to correct vision.

Ask Us A Question
If you have been told that you are not a candidate for LASIK laser vision correction because of your prescription, there are other vision correction options available to you! The Verisyse Phakic IOL may be an option to reduce or even eliminate your dependence on glasses and contact lenses!
The Verisyse™ Phakic IOL is the other FDA approved phakic lens used to treat moderate to severe myopia. The Verisyse Phakic IOL is made from a material known as polymethyl metacrylate (PMMA). This material has been used for decades in cataract surgery. This lens is also reversible.
Verisyse™ Phakic IOL provides high-quality, high-contrast vision for those who are extremely nearsighted. This IOL is placed into the eye behind the cornea, without removing the natural lens. this is done through a small incision made at the edge of the cornea. This is an outpatient procedure and recovery is very quick, allowing people to return to their normal activities within a couple days.
Data shows that these lenses are great choices for the correction of moderate to severe myopia. The phakic IOLs are also ideal for patients with contraindications for laser refractive surgery. Both the Verisyse and the Visian ICL are FDA approved for treating nearsightedness only at the present time.
